Head Coach

Dr. Donald M. Walker

Dr. Walker received his B.S. from Clarion University, an M.A. from University of The Incarnate Word, and a Doctorate from Texas A&M University. Coach Walker is a former NCAA and NAIA All-American swimmer. He has coached swimmers from Olympic Trial Qualifier to Novice level. He is the immediate Past General Chairman of South Texas Swimming, Inc. He is also the Aquatics Director for SAISD and a Psychology Professor at San Antonio College.

Head Age Group Coach

Carolyn Bell

Coach Bell has been involved with competitive swimming for over 40 years as competitor, coach and swim parent.  She is a former 5-time High School and Division I All-American and a certified Level I ASCA coach.  She has coached all ages from 8-and-under summer league and developmental club swimmers through collegiate athletes. She holds a Masters degree in Education from Penn State, and teaches Middle School math at TMI-The Episcopal School of Texas

Mr. De La Garza is currently a student at San Antonio College. He graduated from Edison High School and holds numerous Varsity Records. He is the current SAISD District Record Holder in the 200 breaststroke. In addition, Coach De La Garza has qualified for the Texas Age Group State (TAGS) Championships several times.  He is currently employed by Clarke America
